Willowbrook Free: 16x16 Settlement Sim Starter Pack

A free slice of Willowbrook, the 16x16 asset pack for settlement sims: games where you assign the labor and watch your villagers carry it out.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• The villager and the farmer, each with a four-direction walk and the whole work set: chop, mine, build, till, attack, shoot, cast, gather and fish, a four-direction carry for hauling, and rest, hurt and downed.
• A house, a barn and a sawmill, each as a staked-out site, finished and ruined, at 48x48 with doors your villagers fit through and at a compact 32x32.
• A farm: wheat and carrots in six growth stages each, from a sown furrow to withered, plus a chicken, a cow, a sheep, a scarecrow, a haystack and a well.
• A log rack and a grain bin that fill up as workers haul, a berry bush to pick and a tree to fell.
• 53 terrain tiles: grass, dirt, farmland, a road with turns, a pond, bridges and animated water, with three autotile edge sets. Plus a fence that autotiles, and its gates.
• Job badges, a progress ring, 16 item icons, hearts, cursors, buttons, a wooden panel, selection rings, build-placement overlays, both workers' portraits and a 5x7 bitmap font.

READY FOR YOUR ENGINE

Every sheet ships pre-sliced for Tiled, Godot and Unity, along with a PNG and a JSON atlas for anything else. Godot gets a drop-in project with a TileSet for every paintable sheet, Unity a drop-in project with every sheet cut into named sprites, and Tiled a tileset per sheet with the fence as a Wang set.

UPGRADE WITHOUT STARTING OVER

The free pack is cut from the full one. Every sprite has the same name, the same place in the same sheet and the same Unity and Godot asset IDs as in the full pack, so when your game outgrows it, copy the full pack over this one and everything you've placed, painted or wired up stays put.
